This night was a low attendance night for Lumpini stadium. A rare occurrence, but main event that night was cancelled - Giving me the opportunity to cruise ringside for these photos.

This Raja promotion was coordinated run by Boat Petchyindee (pictured below with a furious expression). Boat is also of Petchyindee academy, where blue corner was raised as a fighter.

Pressure
Fighting in Thailand is often affected by gambling. Coaches bet on their own fighters, which can add pressure to the game. The real gamble is raising the fighter, betting on them is just trusting that all the hard work will pay off.
In return, the fighter puts it all on the line to achieve success, reciprocating the faith and trust of the coach that invested in him.
Conclusion
Despite their efforts, this fight did not pay it's dividends

When gamblers are involved, they can offer to pay extra to fighters who win early by knockout.
